Robert De Niro's Waiting was released in 1984 by the girl group and eighties-style icons, Bananarama. It peaked at number three in the UK charts and made a brief appearance in the States.
The video shows Bananarama walking around dark streets, being followed by mafia-style clothed men. All a bit strange if you ask me, as it turns out one of the men was actually the pizza delivery man, delivering three pizzas to the girls' apartment. Not sure where Robert De Niro comes into this, but in 2019 one of the band members, Siobhan, explained that the song was all about hero worship. Originally the story had been told that the song was about something not so nice...
